January Favourites

J A N U A R Y ~ F A V O U R I T E S ~ 2018

I know I’m about 9 days out of January, but better late than never ! Here are some of things that I’ve been loving for the month of January. From beauty, to fashion to books, movies and television.

One of my favourite things this month has been The O.C. Most of my friends and family know that I spent a good chunk of my time this last month watching the ENTIRE series of The O.C in just over 2 weeks…(still not completely sure if that’s something that I should be proud of or not). Regardless, I absolutely LOVED this show. I don’t know if it was the pacing of the show, Seth Cohen or my obsession with wanting Ryan and Marissa to JUST END UP TOGETHER ALREADY, this was the first show in a long time that really pulled me in, and had me so connected to each of the characters story lines. For those of you who have not seen the The O.C I highly recommend giving it a try, one of the best pilot seasons of a show, EVER.

For those of you who know me, you know I love myself a good ring. I am obsessed with anything from small dainty rings, to vintage looking rings, to statement rings, and I can appreciate a good midi ring. Here are some rings that I have on my wish list, and some that I’ve gotten over the course of the month.

This month for some reason I’ve been REALLY into graphic tee’s. I’ve noticed that with a lot of the gift cards I received for Christmas I found myself looking for graphic and vintage tee’s. I’ve always been into band T-Shirts, I own my fair share of Beatles and Eagles clothing, BUT lately I’ve been loving the effortless look of a graphic T-Shirt, with high waisted jeans, a nice belt and booties. There’s something so timeless about this, and it’s such an easy look to dress up or down depending on the occasion. Here are some of the looks that I’ve been inspired by.

Okay, so this next one is probably my absolute favourite of favourites. This is going to sound SUPER lame, but I’ve always wanted to be someone that has a particular scent associated with them. I know….I know stay with me. There’s certain smells that you associate with certain people, or places and I’ve just always loved that a certain smell can take you right back to a very specific moment in time. So this Christmas, I treated myself to a high end perfume which I was introduced to by my cousin who lives in England. It’s called Flowerbomb by Viktor and Rolf.

This is the most recent thing that I’ve been pretty obsessed with and it’s a book. Throughout my four years at University I wasn’t able to read as often as I normally do, since graduating I have been able to catch up on a lot of the books that I’ve been wanting to read. This one in particular had me laughing out loud, and smiling ear to ear, but do we really expect anything less from Ellen DeGeneres?

Hope you enjoyed this little list of my most favourite things of this month !
