Birthday’s, Mimosa’s and Nails oh my

“The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more in life there is to celebrate” – Oprah Winfrey

I’ve always LOVED Birthday’s. I absolutely love celebrating my friends birthdays, I love making people feel special and I love love love spoiling people. So getting the chance to spend Valentines Day with two of my most favourite people in the universe and celebrate one of their birthday’s, was a dream.

Going into Toronto is something that has been part of my daily routine for the last 5 years of my life, and it’s completely beyond me that despite going into the city so often there is so much that I haven’t gotten the chance to explore. So since the planning was totally in my hands for the day I figured why go to places we probably wouldn’t go to on a normal day in the city.

I knew that food was definitely something that we wanted to get, since we were aiming to be downtown for around 11am. Going to school downtown has it’s perks, one of them being that there’s always somewhere new, something new to try. I had heard about this cafe before from a couple of my co workers, called Cafe Cancan.

Cafe Cancan was the perfect spot for us. Honestly if you were walking by there’s no way that you would even know that it existed. The food was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend if you live in the Toronto area and are looking for something different for brunch!

Our next spot was a place that I’m sure most young women in Toronto have heard of, and have tried at least once, called Her Majesty’s Pleasure. It’s one of the cutest places that I’ve ever been to, not to mention I think my nails look ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC and I couldn’t be happier about the service and our overall experience. & yes we did a little bit of a photoshoot after, aren’t my friends beautiful !
